Hatha Yoga
Most of the popular styles of yoga practiced in the West today stem from Hatha Yoga. At its core, Hatha Yoga is the practice of physical postures (asanas), breathwork, and meditation. Unlike modern systems that often prescribe fixed sequences, traditional Hatha Yoga does not mandate a uniform order of practice; rather, the selection and arrangement of poses are adaptable and contingent upon the goals, capacities, and spiritual aspirations of the practitioner.
